Welcome to the Volusia Teachers Organization / Volusia Educators Assoiciation - Retired Website.

We appreciate you taking the time to check us out, however, coming to our VTO- VEA meetings is a much better experience than just visiting our website. We encourage you to email the officers below with any questions you may have as you surf our website.

We had a great turnout for our luncheon meeting in November at the VTO Office. If you were not there, you can still support the organization by filling out the membership form and sending it in to the address on the bottom of the form with your check for dues. This way you will still get our newsletters during the year.

At our luncheon meeting in January, we had a long term care insurance broker talk to us about the different types of policies that are available in Volusia County. He gave updates on what is happening as far as costs of nursing home facilities, both long term and short term and how you can save money by taking out this type of insurance as early as possible. We also had reports given about membership, the treasurer's report and minutes from our last meeting.

We invite you to our next meeting which will take place on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at noon @ the VTO office, located at 1381 Educators Road, Daytona Beach, FL.
